Being the best brand of the year, Bentley comes up with the special edition of GT convertible no.1. This edition is there to celebrate the 1929 No. 1 Bentley Blower, an iconic, record-holding race car. According to the company that car had that their name on the map in the early 20th Century. The Bentley Continental GT Convertible No. 1 Edition illustrates heavily from the manufacturer’s original race car, which set the longstanding lap record at the Brooklands racing circuit in 1932.

Well, the company is making only 100 of them, and the vehicles are available worldwide. And it offers the car in Dragon Red II or Beluga black with either a Claret red or Beluga fabric roof.

Bentley GT Convertible No. 1 Edition

For this edition, Bentley has equipped the interior with the original look of inspired car. For that, the interior features a very special touch as Bentley casts the wheel spinner emblem in the center of the dashboard’s rotating display out of a piece of the 1929 No.1 besides that, Bentley has  removed the metal during the classic car’s restoration. The upholstery comes in either Cricket Ball or Beluga, and there’s Grand Black wood facing for trim, in addition to 18-carat gold touches.

On the other hand, each car boasts a Centenary Specification Package, which adds Centenary badges to the rear and on the wheels. The car has special LED welcome lamps, Centenary badging on the gear selector and steering wheel, and a Centenary badge on the key fob.  Other than this, Alcantara covers the steering wheel, and the Jaeger clock gets a “1” at the 12 o’clock position.

For the power of the engine, it has the W12 pumps out 626 horsepower (467 kilowatts) and 664 pound-feet (900 Newton-meters) of torque. The power flows through an eight-speed automatic through an all-wheel-drive system. It gets to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds and to a top speed of 207 mph (333 kph). So over all, it’s pretty impressive edition for a bit massy vehicle that weighs a hefty 5,322 pounds.
